OCBA YLS Evening with the Judiciary Event Chairwoman, 2009-2013
- Organized a 300+ person party each year for young lawyers to meet and mingle with, on average, 60 state, appellate, federal, and administrative judges
Women’s Residential and Counseling Center Halloween Party, 2009-2013
- Organized a Halloween party for the children at the women’s shelter, wherein 40+ children received free, new Halloween costumes and had a safe trick-or-treat each year
- The party, which was largely self-funded and self-organized from 2010-2012, received a grant from the Florida Bar Young Lawyers Division in January 2013, and is now a reoccurring event for the Young Lawyers Section of the Orange County Bar
- In 2013, a mock trial component was added so that the children could learn how the judicial process works, in addition to celebrating Halloween
OCBA Joint Happy Hour Chairwoman, 2011 and 2012
- Organized a Happy Hour for all local voluntary bar associations in an effort to raise canned good donations for the Second Harvest Food Bank and cash donations for the OCBA Foundation, wherein hundreds of pounds of food were donated each year before Thanksgiving
Girls Advocacy Project Board of Directors, 2009-2011
- Served on a statewide Board for the project, which provided mentoring and diversion programs to girls in juvenile detention centers throughout the state
Central Florida Gator Club President, 2008-2010
- Organized Gator Gathering with Urban Meyer for 600 attendees, which raised money for the club’s scholarship program
- Oversaw and organized a variety of fundraisers, speakers and volunteer events for membership
- Created and co-organized first CFGC Gator Gala to raise money for the Florida Opportunity Scholarship program
Junior League of Greater Orlando, 2006-2014
- Corks for a Cause, Special Advisor, 2013-2014
- Advising special events committee regarding annual fundraiser benefitting Second Harvest Food Bank and Junior League programs relating to childhood hunger and obesity
- MAGIC (Mentoring Adolescent Girls to Inspire Change) Committee Member, 2011-2013
- Mentored teenaged girls in the Orange County Detention Center twice a month
